In fact, there is a set of Königstiger transport tracks available right now (18 Feb. 2021). I got all excited at the idea until I saw the price.
Nonethless,I have bought from this seller before, and all went just fine.

Some Ludwigs bits arrived yesterday so I set to work tonight!
Late tool layout done. Made some hangers and chain for the C hooks abs the new gun cleaner tube.
Deck armour installed.

Mr Surfacer 500 added to the front and sides for some texture.
Cast parts had a thicker mixture.

Not sure yet, I need to take a look at my old 1946 JP

Nicely thought through project, Adam. What did you use for the front mud guard extensions? A nice detail often omitted. Excellent work.

Looking forward to getting the tracks and wheels on when the idlers arrive.
I cut the stock spronsons off and trimmed neatly along the front mudguards. Drilled out the position where the bolts lined up.
