Made some progress this weekend.
Stripped the tank from all non essentials and painted base coat - TS28. One of my favourite colours for olive green.
Rebuilt this evening and tested. All good and working, no fit issues.
Stowage offered up.
Due to paint and weather some bits next weekend now.

Immaculate, as ever, Adam!
I especially like the non-mainstream addition of the scavenged German armour plate (with battered Zimmerit!). That's how to make a Tamiya tank unique.
...edit: it also give the tank a story!
