I use Tamiya metal (etching) primer for metal, but also use Mr Metal Primer-R (Mr Hobby company). I've also used Tamiya Fine Surface Primer for Plastic and Metal with good results.
Gary- that Rust-o-leum can image is the LARGEST image I've ever seen on the forum

I've also not heard from Tony The Tiger in many years.

Tiger6, what did you use for all those wonderful trucks you made? That should also be available in France, right?

In the UK I use Halford's Red Oxide plastic primer - I suspect that its Rust-o-leum behind the store brand, they seem to be the only ones left in the market...

And as long as we're on the subject of rustoleum and paint, for anyone who doesn't already know, rustoleum bought out testors and they're discontinuing a lot of the enamel paints and some of the rattle cans. The '43 series in enamel is going away, as is afrika mustard in the rattle can, so if you have a favorite testors paint that you use a lot of it might be a good idea to stock up. I already cleaned out the LHS for afrika mustard and dunkelgelb '43.
