They might call it a Jaguar, but that's not Jaguar print. That looks more like Cheetah.

I think this would be hard to spot from the air given the surrounding terrain.

Taking camo to another level, here's a tank disguised as a truck:

Setting Eartha as Catwoman, and 'old fashioned Millionaires' playthings aside, I just wonderingwhat the point of having a 'Q' Tank might be- one disguised as truck, as above, that is?

Unless the disguised tank in question was capable of defeating a likely enemy tank threat, (as in a Sherman vs Panther mismatch), the truck disguise would have no real value.

Inflatable tanks, yes, for fooling recon aircraft...but trucks with tracks.
This got me thinking about "Q" ships. Now, they were certainly capable of giving a 'U" Boat commander an unpleasant surprise, especially in WW1.

- Pain for a WW1 Q ship...
Even today, such ships are a threat, it appears..

- Modern 'Q' She threat

And back on topic. And talking of hiding.
I stumbled on these pictures a year or so ago, I forgot I had them, and this thread reminded me.

No we all didn't. Some of us remain loyal to Julie Newmar, the Bestest Catwoman.
