I had the sound turned off when I watched it!

Hahahaha
It has an industrial spec geared motor in it which has a high torque and good speed set for the size of model and also fits inside the prop shaft tunnel.
The motor will be staying, but I can fill with more grease to reduce the sound emission.

Agreed it would be good to have a driver and some crew, but the new owner can sort that out

I appreciate the problem as l've experienced it on several of my small truck conversions, no space! Adding sound can be achieved using micro sound modules but they don't disguise a noisey transmission.
Some motors and some ESCs are worse than others but l've yet to find a solution myself, other than a higher reving motor / higher gearing combo seems to generate less electronic 'noise'. I wish there was a market for decent quality small motors. I wonder if the slot car hobby can offer a better solution? BUT...grease is good!

Doing another one now with the other tyre types, so gotta design another new set of wheels for that & the Schwimmwagen

New wheel designs to suit other available tyre types
Eduards, Tamiya Balloon & Tamiya std tyre
Some more Kubel in build

Some new accessories and detail parts to come like interior door panels and hinges and door handles. Also horn and bumpers etc
I think i will have 3 by the time finished to show off various wheels and accessories options.
Need to see if i can fit micro sound unit inside next, so there's a challenge.
Once these are done i have a Schwimmwagen to work on
Maybe i also need to do a 1/6 version to tow my new 1/6 range of things!

A few more pictures of the Kubelwagen fleet being built up

Towing a field Kitchen?
We also now have our own fully functional and robust rear axle which can be easily modified for different width and suspension setup and pickup points
Maybe will have to do a Rat Rod version, i am sure some crazy man out there has fit a Tiger Tank engine in a Kubelwagen before surely?

Hi Guys
Managed to get some paint on my armoured turret Kubelwagen
Catherine will get the joys of finishing the paint and details as she is great at that.
Need to get the wiring connected up and i need to get a sound module in the back hopefully.
Also finished a Low Profile Ammo Box and SD.Anh51 trailer to tow behind
Next Kubelwagen is a Tamiya static to RC conversion. It is alot more flimsy and lightweight which may cause some issues, but we are going to transfer our suspension, steering and running gear into that aswell.
