Can anyone suggest a board for this. Ibu doesn’t fit due to its dklm gearboxes and turret system. A standard Taigen fits but I need something with Cromwell sounds and that supports 2 servos

Ibu would fit if I change traverse motor to something smaller but I already have 2 servos in for elevation and recoil

The Elmod Thinktank Fusion ECO is 92mm (9.2CMs) x 55mm (5.5CMs) and it is a well proven board, Its only drawback is the price,
199.95 Euros from
http://www.rctank.de/ELMOD_1 plus postage.

Can you use a modified servo for the traverse?

A tk40 is the same footprint as the rx18, supports the pdsgb, meets your other needs and is the cheapest.

Exhibitedbrute wrote:Following a discovery just made I have decided my scratch build will be a cromwell.
My theory is thus.
The crusader and Cromwell are both cruiser class tanks.
So I looked at some photos and discovered the are both on the same lower hull.
That being said. I should be able to use the measurements or copy the lower hull of my crusader and build up the top to fit. Hardest part being the turret.
Can anyone confirm my theory?
Complete different designs that happen to share similar dimensions

Thanks I have been studying this and it appears that when converted to 1/16 the Cromwell would be about 10-15mm longer and around 5mm wider.
My reason for this conclusion. The 1/35 cromwell when doubled to upscale is exactly the same at what my crusader currently is.
I don’t have the exact Cromwell dimensions from this so if anyone can share them that would be great.
I can’t start it until I get the dimensions right but that’s as close as I can get using what’s available to me
