I want to build a couple of these.
Or similar anyway.

How much functionality are you looking for?
I was intending for full option for mine if at all possible, tho the small size of the turret will make that a challenge..

Reckon I could just about squeeze a Tamiya spec emitter mount under the gun:

At best just rotation,
I can stick an old turret ring on it to get the thing moving, but as for elevation, no real need

Nice!
If anyone was to offer a printed R35 kit, I'd be interested. Even better, a Somua S35.

However!!!
Looking at the pivot and knowing I will have space, I could mount an HL elevation unit on its side , connect it to the breach with say a ball joint link off a steering system to the scroll wheel and suspend the lot off a frame ( like a turret basket) to rotate with the turret & that would give me a cheap & cheerful solution .
By the time enough putty has been added to give the cast texture, you would never know it’s a print job I reckon

If you use a servo it'll be even smaller? Basket method is ideal when there aren't any gubbins underneath. Great idea for the smaller tanks if there's space.

Tower Pro SG-90 servo for elevation and a HobbyKing S0361 for recoil:

This thing is going to look utterly daft with a TBU perched on top..

You could place the TBU in a feature of the bunker perhaps,
Much easier to blend in and not a huge distance between the turret and the tbu .
I have a much simpler destiny !!
