I think a lot of people will upgrade to elmod etc so they won't be put off by the BB version.

Swathdiver said that they were working on a Tam compatible IR version, but I think that it'll be a while before that comes out.

I for one, wont be upgrading to elmod. I have already had my fingers burnt with their new system. I think I will stick with the good ol RX-18. Its one hell of a lot cheaper and easier to work on with. ;D ;D ;D
Do you realize how much I hate this uniform and all it stands for. ( Cross of Iron )

I still want one Dave, if just for the suspension! I plan on doing a bit of a Mato/Tamiya hybrid anyway. If possible with Nick Aguilar's hull and turret.
Keep one aside for me! Any idea of the price? Oh, and is the suspension plastic or metal?
Cheers,
Rik

i do hope that in the near future Aistam do a metal lower hull for the sherman, so that making tamiya shermans with tamiya top hulls will be even better! :D

cheers,

sorry, going to be a bit vague.  ???i have contacted my other suppliers on the off chance they will get anything earlier or other variants, as soon as i hear i will let you know even if it's only snippets. not sure on the price yet, but i shall endeavour to remain reasonable at all times. ;D ;D (i was going to put something cheeky about a well known supplier, not one on the forum and thought better of it!)  ;)

Just to confuse the issue, someone posted this on RCU-

"I sent Tank Zone an email to see if they could shed some light. A gentleman from Tank Zone I`ve dealt with quite a few times responded...
This M4 Sherman they`re advertising, the one that looks exactly like the Mato Toys prototype M4 Sherman, is a Heng Long. The Gentleman went on to say that Heng Long planned on doing a Sherman 2 years ago
but did the Pzr III instead ( and then got sidetracked with the PzrIV, PzrIIIH, StugIII, Jagdpanther and KV1) lol and will be bringing out this Tank as well as the corrected Panther later on this year. Why this Tank looks identical to the Mato M4 prototype, he did`nt comment on."

and

"I certainly dont want to confuse the issue further lol but I was just at the Matorro Web sight,
and I found what I`ve been referring to as the prototype Mato Toys M4 Sherman. You know, the one Tank Zone is advertising as a Heng Long Tank ? Well here, it`s being advertised as a,
yep, you guessed it, a Matorro Tank, got it parked right beside the good ol Sturmtiger. lol
AND !! They`ve even got what I`ve been referring to as the finished product Mato Toys M4 Sherman !! But surprisingly, its not being advertised as a Matorro, or a Mato Toys, or even a Heng Long. lol It`s a TORO Tank !!! I think I`ve entered the Twilight Zone lol "

So so far HL, Matorro, Toro and Mato are all making different Shermans.
