Hi,

Really glad I waited for Futaba to catch up with 2.4 tech. I changed radios in the Pz4 recently. Now using a Futaba SkySport 2.4, four channel radio and receiver system. Highly recommend it. Sets up easy, no binding, no need to cut/modify the Tamiya DMD receiver plugs (as with other 2.4 systems), no external antenna required on the panzer now, and great line of sight range without any interference. All for under $100.00 (USD) delivered.

Regards, John

What type of Pz trouble?

My 2 cents, the Tamiya Pz4 is a very good kit and the HL Pz3 and Pz4 are good platforms for conversion in to pro hobby models. Anyway, the Pz series has turned into favorite backyard runners and top 10 picks for favorite WWII German rc tanks.

Hmm... Since reading your thread, It feels very tempting to also buy a Tamiya Pz IV kit, also since I also have very positive experiences with the HL Pz IV kit.

Just two short questions...

...would it be possible to fit the HL StuG IV conversion top onto the Tamiya Pz IV bottom?

...does the HL metal tracks for the HL Pz IV also fit the Tamiya Pz IV? In that I don't have to buy any new ones.

Cheers and many congratz on this very succeeded build!

Cheers, Jens

Agree, sure is a great example and considering the years it was done ago, extra points for unique style.

Thanks guys for the kind Pz4 comments, building a Lang later in the year.
The Pz4J is still looking good and a strong battle day runner!
