That would work it just needs 3v and how long would the batteries last is the big question .

Hi Gents,
Just got back from a 2 day business trip to Land Rover/Aston Martin's production and test facility in Gaydon Warwickshire. I've been driving the new 2010 model year vehicles at their proving ground and test circuit, as well as the open roads around Wellsbourne. I have to say Land Rover have raised the bar to the highest level ever. The 5 litre Supercharged Range Rover is quite simply staggering. It has a 0-to-60 time of 5.9 seconds and back to back drag racing with the old models showed how superior the new model is. Anything more than that is classified, there is a complete embargo on photos and info. My phone was confiscated the minute I drove through security.

All of the above is for interest only and offers an explanation why I haven't been in touch for a couple of days. So back to the matter in hand.

I haven't heard from Bill from RCCommand yet. He is fully aware that the shipped units don't work, but still not heard a peep out of him.

Bubbajoe, Thanks for sending me the Youtube Vid. However with respect, it's a bit like rubbing "Salt into the Wound". I would much rather see fully functioning units in my tanks than see your offering that shows a system actually working !!! No offense meant.
So on that basis I would prefer to know what is actually going on here and when I can expect to receive fully functioning units from RCCommand. As the strap line says on his website "Customer service is our number one priority".....I would really like to feel like I'm a bit of a priority, in view of recent events.

All the best Gentlemen,

Nick.

Yeah Pete. I love those old Landy stories. Those ageing babies never give up do they. The worlds full of old Landys.
When I was at boarding school (1971-1976 Pocklington near York) we had our own private army. I was recruited into our R.E.M.E. It was part of my schoolboy Corps job to keep the 3 long wheel base Landys working all the time. They were given to us by the M.O.D. after they were classified as "U.S." at the end of a tour in Aden. I swear, when I worked on them, I still found desert sand in their far reaches.
We used to have so much fun as schoolboys on exercise in those old Landys, the bedford 2.5 tonner troup carrier and our assorted 86 Lee Enfield 303's, Bren guns and loads of Thunderflashes...Lot of fun.

The new stuff is simply staggering. You can't believe the performance on the Supercharged models.
