I found a lot of info on this site:
Tiger im Focus
Many info about all the Panzer battalions and about the turret numbers too.

While I'm sure more than one unit could have the same numbers, the only S01 I can find is camo or dunkelgelb. This has always been my personal favorite Tiger One Early.

You do want to keep the grey paint scheme, correct?

Rob is correct about numberless Tigers, Indeed a high proportion of Tiger 1s never carried a Turret number.

Yes Max, for now the grey will stay on.
Maybe in a later stage, i will add some whitewash or some darker grey camo.
Found a couple of pics from Tigers with light-dark grey camp pattern, ain't too bad looking either.

About SO1, you're right, only Gelb and camo pattern.
Besides that the SO1 has only white linings, no red and white like I did.
So the SO1 is off for me.
I do like the Roman III, but I haven't figured out of those digits belong to Befehls Tigers?
If so, do I need to add something else to my model?
Saw pics of Befehls Tigers carrying somekind of box up front where the spade is mounted?
What's in it?

Have you seen these?

"B" is very cool, with some unique features. The bundles of sticks are something you don't see in most photos. And how about what appears to be a tube to hold a spare antenna next to the muffler cover? And notice that the muffler covers don't really show any rust or dents. And the cover on the muzzle brake would be a neat addition.

And that's not another shot of 332, it's 333, maybe tank 3 in the same platoon as 332? Notice the placement of spare track links on both. In the front on the 333 and is that some kind of cover on the bow MG-34? On the turret like that on "B" it may indicate a mid version Tiger, especially with the hatch for the TC, not sure on that. Someone here will be. 8)

I still have a T1 that needs a paint job, I might do "B": someday, if you don't. I even have the right metal hatch for the TC. I'm sure I'll get to it eventually. Maybe. Someday. Famous last words, eh? @) :haha:

"B" is the same way, just 3 outside shoulder wheels.

Gary if you look a little closer at the "Spare Aerial holder" and then the other aerials on the Tiger you will see that it is actually a "Command Tank",
As to the Tiger running without the front wheels it was not a common sight in Russia but it was not that unusual, In the Mud of the Autumn and the Spring the build up in and around the wheels as the mud dried could make the leading wheels immovable and cause damage to the drivetrain because of it.
