If memory serves, I think I sliced 2mm off each axle end to get the correct lengths. The CCKW tyres are a slightly different profile to the WC's but you'll get away with those Tank-Modellbau ones 8)

With the last HL tank being a looong while ago, I too am wondering what they are up to? It doesn't really affect me as I can make my own, but it would be good to see something new hitting the sales racks. Usually a new lower hull opens up possibilities for a multitude of upper hull designs.

I'm stacking up jobs for the winter, and a couple of trucks are on the list, I simply can't focus on building anything at all with this summer that we are getting in Blighty. 8O

Detailed pictures of these trucks. Much better than the HL & WPL trucks quality wise and same price!

Hi Will, what are the blocks on each end of the axle?
Oh, are std wheels a straight fit?
Cheers

The blocks locate into an adaptor which is needed for the car tracks. Allows then so rotary movement but then has limitbstops which ensures drive can be applied without the cat tracks potentially spinning around.
Wheels are direct fit.
I try get more pictures

Good morning,
I charged up the battery last night around dusk and ran the new, stock Crawler Truck around the tank village ( to be ) site. I was pretty happy with performance and range but yes, it _really_ needs a more powerful battery. Spinning four tires is a lot easier on the motor that comes in this thing vs those track setups. Here is a short video made using the mini tripod for the phone... ;o)
regards,
Painless
