Jimmy, I rely like what you have done with this, don't get me wrong this idea probably would have worked better than the Jagdtiger, keep up the good work absolutely no harm done

I think what's important here is that when somebody makes these 'what if' tanks that its made clear that it is just somebodies pipe dream. Otherwise its another myth that eventually becomes reality when enough people see a picture of a model on the internet ;)

I think that SturmTiger conversion looks great Jimmy, I hope your's comes out just as good and I get a chance to see it at the club when I get back to the US ;D ;D ;D

Practically every tank the Germans made, apart from the Tiger 1, had a tank destroyer counterpart based on it's hull. So I would be very surprised if someone somewhere wasn't beavering away at plans for your tank destroyer or something like it Jimmy. Perhaps the idea was dropped when the Tiger II gun was mounted on the chassis of the Panther to create the Jagdpanther.

Anyway, I'm with Mart here, as long as you enjoy your build, go ahead and do it.  ;D
Here's another pic of a 'fictional' German tank that I would love to see someone build.

Cheers

Hi Iain,

It's the 'Schwarzwolf'. Have a look here:- http://strangevehicles.greyfalcon.us/Schwarz%20Wulf.htm

Now that is a mean looking fictional Panzer. If I could scratch build that would be one of them for sure. Nice find John thanks for sharing. All the best for now

you could make the turret out of a bulldogs just add some plasticard to build it up were needed and a panther hull with bigger wheels and only use 4 of them .
