In the Concord Publications book titled ,"Armour Of The Deutsches Africa Korps" , Author Tom Cockle , there is 4 VERY CLEAR pic's of a P3 with an MG34 cupola AA mount , page 47.

The antenna on a real Panzer III is mounted on the radio operators rear side of the upper hull.. If you look there, you will see a rather long piece with a channel on it. That is the antenna fold down position. The antenna would be mounted to the rear of that area where the cone-like (with a hole drilled in it). The whip antenna (not supplied) would mount into that hole. I hope that makes sense.

I edited this to correct my earlier post with better descriptions and correct spelling.
