Many thanks, Alwyn. The cautionary stuff on the product flash drive loses a lot in translation, and adds gibberish instead (chinglish..; but I did get the warning about the heat from the printer bed, and the importance of keeping a minimum distance between the plates of 'one A4 sheet'. Not very helpful....but cautionary nonetheless...
In the event, i'd like to finish the Cromwell before plunging headlong into a sea of 3D.. But I'm happy to prepare for it

Jammy devil. I must say that model looks almost pristine, and the butt stock (and wood in general) has that lovely light golden sheen. My lad's model looks like it's seen a fair bit of action, and been used for clubbing victims when the ammo ran out

That one was unissued and still in the factory wrappings. The serial number is the same on the stock, magazine and bayonet, one of the very last made.

That's one thing serious Lee collectors always look for: the same unique serial on all significant components. Yours ticks all the right boxes My son's came from a Canadian job lot, bought by a Swiss dealer, who also has many more on offer, including WW1 Mk 3s. (All fully functional, of course...and therefore more difficult to license here.. )
