Mr. Ellis!
Thank you, I am humbled that people even notice what I am doing anymore. You are absolutely correct! I get a charge out of finding that some odd, rubber fitting or solitary bit of metal I've discovered gets new life in one of my builds. This current M36B1 with the turret interior saw quite a few of my 'finds' used to make up some piece of recognizable equipment there. Well worth the time spent!
regards,
Painless

I hope no one is suggesting we in here are 'Environmentally Friendly" due to our penchant for recycling :O
I prefer 'alternate use' experts................ :/

Some would say, in fact, we are actually 'Wombles'
:shifty: :shh:

After building model railways, which was draining my wallet, I was talked into helicopters, that not only drained my wallet but caused me to question whether I was lacking a skill that only others possessed. Then I was told about £50 Heng Long tanks, that will do I thought, £50. Bargain!

Ten years later, probably owned or built close on 20 tanks, and two 3D printers, travelled hundreds if not thousands of miles, I have taught myself how to make thngs, how to understand electronics, and have hopefully helped a few others along the way. I used to live in France and even drove 11 hours each way plus the ferry trips to get to a meet in the UK once?? It has taken me into researching WW2 (still much is secret) and the Vietnam war (completely fascinating), visits to Bovington, and all over France visiting the treasure trove of relics. It has taken me to the D-Day celebrations at Arromanches three times.

My wallet has taken a severe battering, no one understands me, and I sometimes wonder if I understand myself, lol, but I can't help it, I am an addict, I can't help it.

I am doomed!! 8O

Archery isn't that bad unless you shoot recurve or compound at a higher level. Or decide to try longbow, Korean, recurve and compound! 8O
