Excellent. We all now know where to get a cheap set of metal Bulldog tracks from!
Last "helpful" suggestion. Given the height you've got in the front compared to the Bulldog is there space to use (for example) a T34 & KV gear box - ie a mismatched pair? It's the motors that interfere, but would some separation give you marginally more room to narrow the hull?
I'm full of useful(less) ideas, and at some point I'll hopefully be good enough to actually try some of them.....

I may sell the metal tracks and sprockets, together with a top spec Bulldog upper at some point, I will need to know if the current project is going to work first.
The hull width will be 'ok', it won't look out of place, its narrowing the track guards that has been more of a challenge. By fitting PIII tracks, and then narrowing the mudguards slightly so that they don't quite cover the tracks, I will have reduced the width so that when gearboxes are on there they can be more to scale.

Managed to get some more done, I tend to design parts while I am watching a movie or something, my brain would start frying otherwise.
The sprockets are basically the M41 sprocket design but narrower so that the teeth fit the PIII tracks. The gun enclosure has been narrowed down and track covers started, and the overall effect is a much narrower upper hull.

Wow, the surface on the superstructure is fantastic.

did you cast it that way?

It's all 3D printed.

I'll have to get Jagdpanther gearboxes to go in there as they are low profile and long shafts. The front is resting on the top of the scrap ones ones that I have in there at the moment.

Started on the detailed parts, so far so good, it's all just balanced in place for the pics, if I glued it together I would never be able to paint it afterwards.

Slow progress today, on the way home from the last tank meet I went over a speed bump that I didn't see coming, my tanks bounced in the back of the car and that meant three of them needed repairs!
