I agree and I mentioned this earlier the servo doesn't really matter it's all about the linkage and restriction I had a similar situation where had an obstruction in the linkage on my model and I burned out two servos as a result of this I've never had any brand specific servo not work with a Clark every type that I tried have worked the only ones that failed were the ones that had some kind of restriction as noted. if the servo is extending and hitting something it's going to cause it to prematurely failwibblywobbly wrote:Have you set up the servo so that it doesn't hit anything before it reaches the end of its travel either way? If it rotates, hits a stop, and can't get any further, it will keep pushing and burn out eventually. Also check the linkage, if that jams it will have the same effect. You need a double joint, don't simply attach the servo arm to the end of the barrel, the servo arm moves in an arc, so if the link doesn't allow for that arc it will pull the barrel down, and cause excess friction.
If you don't sort your mechanism out then you're "weeing in the breeze"gisalook wrote:What servos work with the board
I own several Clark boards they all operate different servos and the servos are not specific to the Clark board the only time I've ever had an issue with servos is when I didn't check the mechanism or the linkage burning out of multiple servos doesn't explain anything to do with the Clark board why don't you take some photos of your setup so we can look at them maybe even a video of your setup in action hope this helpsgisalook wrote:There's nothing Wrong with the mechanism.
