This is good karma coming full circle, Mr Bix donated all his spare H/L T34 parts to me and now another good person is donating there T34 parts to him.
Doesn't get any better.

Sir, that will be gratefully and enthusiastically accepted.
I will admit to have one of those "be careful what you wish for" moments

While browsing for turret interior parts for the M36B1 on Shapeways, I came across some interesting roadwheel sets. They are 'burnt' roadwheels for destroyed tank dioramas. 1/16 scale. Seemed to be several different varieties available. Something to look into maybe?

Thanks for the heads up Mr Wolf............kind of a party-pooper though..........I was looking forward to burning my own

Glad to hear it, Herman. I'll get those bits boxed up and send them your way after the long weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it all!

Getting back onto this in the next few days.
I have projects for me lined up, but I will need to gather parts.
I got a couple of dead-ugly Tiger 1 wrecks and a few key Pantiger bits for a Panther project, so its going to be a HhheeeeeeLLllllll of a long way before these start to take on anything descent.
The T34 donor bits (thanks Mr Raminator and one other who wishes privacy)shall be conglomerated into one separate project as they are simply too good to waste on a static WSN display piece.
Got a few hours to try & sort out a Schumo MG cupola mount, so as soon as its done, this T34 dio is on.

Into it !
Got the carcass onto the bench & hatched a plan.
Hooked in a got a bit of progress quick as possible so I didnt lose the flow.
Used a jig saw to cut the section of armour out of the side of the hull.'
Cleaned up with a dremel-type tool & roughed up the edges.
The plastic printed mesh on the rear deck gives me the 'ump, so it will also go !

The paint around the damaged strike zone is going to be a challenge for sure.
But it doesn't look oxidised & rusted to me.
I will have to consult professor Google for a good technique on this one methinks...........
Looking at the picture, I reckon the armour missing from the right side has been caused by an ammo explosion from projectile entry through the left side.
The penetrations are visible behind the MG crew.
Any other ideas on this gratefully accepted.

Oh good grief Charlie Brown.............T34 engine deck mesh
I had a section of King Tiger grenade mesh left over that I would never use, so , its going into this Soviet project !
Drilled out the corners of the awful printed mesh, and then set into it with a thin blade on my Ryobi-tool.
The two bits of KT PE will have to be joined, but the look will be near enough once damaged & weathered.
