I have now added some clamps that have been welded on. These have been made to look robust and functional albeit a bit rough. These are based on a picture I found and there was definitely no finesse about the clamps that were in the picture. I also made a small bracket for the handle that was hanging around in fresh air. All I need to do now is clean up, add the wing nut bolts and 'Rust up'.
The Milliput weld beads idea i got from this forum is a great idea.

I fixed filters to the top part of the tank on corners.
It is uncovered with filters.

Here is my muddy battle hardened Tiger 1 so far, front and back.
Not happy with the standard plastic exhaust shields so the best way to damage sheet metal parts is to make sheet metal parts then damage them. Metal shim arrives today.
Have made a template and will use the existing inner parts so wish me luck!

Hi Pete, Both "Voyager" and "ABER" sell Tiger1 early PE Exhaust shrouds And they are primarily flat thin brass sheet so you can shape them as I did to the rectangular design of the true early Tiger or use the preformed curve that is built in so they conform to the usual pattern BUT best of all they do take bullet holes and other damage very readily.
Shaun.

Hi Shaun. That is really interesting that the early ones were rectangular, great bit of information.
I like the idea of preformed, for the sake of a few quid I think its worth it.
Would I be correct it assuming if the shrouds were rectangular then i would also need side storage bins as we discussed earlier?

I have now added the air cleaners with a bit of my first attempt at chipping. Also I have added the tow hook from information found on this forum, just needs a bit of mud on it - funnily enough!

I like it. I happen to be a fan of dirty war machines.
