Clark, IBU2/3, ASP, Elmod, all these after market boards will battle Tamiya. Of course you can always get Tamiya as well but cost is quite significant.
By Tamiya you mean the IR system or the tanks?
Sorry I meant the Tamiya system which is also expensive, just like Tamiya full option tanks.
After market boards like the Clark and Elmod would fit in a Heng Long tank right?

They sure do. Most everything's plug-and-play, but they're not exactly cheap options. The Clark's about US$90, the IBU2 about US$125, and the Elmod about US$200. The Tamiya battle unit itself is at least US$90 (and still needs electronics to run it) though, and all of those aftermarket boards will let the cheap Heng Long IR system battle against Tamiya tanks.
Once you've driven a tank with decent aftermarket electronics though, you won't be able to go back to the stock Heng Long stuff.

The Clark is the cheapest out of the three...... doesnt the Clark change the sound of the tank?

Yep, and they're much better than the stock Heng Long sounds. The downside to the Clark TK20/TK22 is that you can't change the sounds yourself; they come preloaded with a soundset specific to a particular vehicle.

Darn. I like the sounds that come with the new dual sound heng long tanks.
