I have a bag full that I can place on the barrel and paint over, leaving the base colour exposed.
Paint a solid white section on the barrel, then place the rubber bands over it at the right looking intervals, then paint black over top.
Once dry remove the rubber bands and as quickly as your dad can become your transgender Aunty-kill rings

Wait, i paint over the rubber bands in white or what do i do?

Paint a solid white patch on the barrel long enough to do as many rings as you want, let it dry, place the small rubber bands on the white patch & get them aligned.
Then cover the lot in black so the rubber bands act as masking for the rings.
When you take them off the white will be left as the rings you require.

Finely cut strips of masking tape along, and around, the barrel would have been one approach...then just a bit of white spray. Still, you could always suggest that the crew had been celebrating with Schnapps when they painted their kills on..

Ashman I have seen some applied via some thin white tape like a pinstripe you could apply if you don't want to paint. Some of the young fellows at my local Rc track use the striping in this method. I would paint them on but this maybe an easier way to apply them for you without the stress of painting. Good luck

I like the idea of the crew painting the kills on while celebrated with Schnapps, I could imagine that happening

First time in a while since i drove this thing around outside my house. I took some pictures of what it looks like in some grass, some camo could be made to make this beast blend in better.

Hello, Its been a tiny while since i last showed anything with my KV. Anyway, i got some mounting putty and used it to cover the gap between the 88 barrel and the standard KV gun mantlet, i plan on covering it with some camouflage netting so it doesnt look so darn ugly. i also added some stowage and a machine gun.
