hi paul were you aware that they built a prototype called the challenger using the comet hull and a redesigned turret for the 17 pounder
didnt make it passed lulworth  as it was not to good the turret was huge and looked similar to the russkie KV1

sorry for the useless info been doing some research on the firefly/mayfly's

will now go away and leave your excellent build to take shape without my input   LOL
