Breakfast this morning, "There's a letter from the Hospital for you"
"Thanks dear",
"You know what it's about don't you?"
"I havn't opened it yet"
"With all the cutbacks they will be wanting those Stents from you",
We spent 20 minutes cleaning up a broken and much loved coffee cup which I dropped in my laughter.
A kiss on my neck and a "Well done dear I know what Clare (Our youngest grand daughter) can get you for Christmas".

I walked out of his office and a Practice nurse accosted me, asking "Are you here for the Shingles Jab and the Flu Jab?" The next thing I know I am now Two injections up on what I was a day earlier.
I love the National Health Service.

I feel lucky to have the NHS too, Shaun, (Scotland..but same idea)..no matter what the detractors say. As for jabs, I merited the 'Flu and pneumococcal vaccinations, but now feel aggrieved at not getting the Shingles jab for the full-house. However, since I've had shingles (and definitely wouldn't recommend it) maybe the jab would be ineffective.
These things matter when you're no longer a 'poulet de Printemps', so to speak.

It's a spring they put in your arteries to keep them open , so blood can flow through properly.
