Thanks Painless, I'll PM him as you suggest and see what he can do. I could (possibly) do something similar myself but it would take me a long time and I doubt very much I would be able to match the standard of craftsmanship demonstrated here.

Good evening,
While on 2nd Honeymoon in Port Charlotte, FLA this month, I spent a pleasant hour wandering through a local Hobby Shop there named K&K Trains. I didn't expect to find anything that I could transport home but was looking at their 1/72 armored cars. I looked down and there were a few Squadron Walk Around books laying there. Just on the off chance that something useful would come to light I blew the dust off of them and shuffled through the short stack. Good thing I did. This book will be essential to doing whatever detailing on the M10 and the M36 B1 that I can manage. Pics:

Mr Painless, what a fantastic find! I'm really quite envious - Researching for my build I managed to get the Tankograd technical manual for the M36, M36B1 & M36B2 but the pictures and information on the 'B1' is limited with more focus on the M10 (B2) variant. Your find looks far more comprehensive altogether - you might just be my new best friend!

Carl, as always, you are encouraging and genuinely make me feel good about something I have done within the Hobby. Thank you, Doc. Dr. Phibes, I owe you for the excellent assist you rendered earlier with the photo set of your M36 B1. It really helped me make the decision to buy the complete Upper and avoid trying a stock reassemble of the wiring loom.

I've recovered from the Honeymoon and the recent two day power outage here in the valley ( covered all of the SW Rockies ) so tonight is the official kickoff of this build. I gathered together what came with the TD and some of the detail bits I ordered. Others are still enroute. The build sheet is complete so I have some ideas of what I would like to do to it.
