My mate had the same idea with a WW2 armed trawler he changed the design of slightly ,only reason I got it as I am bright as a blackout with things like that lol

Nice one, Frankie. The Easy Eight's the best-looking Sherman and you've done it proud; the stowage and detailing is on-point as always.

..they're called various different things..skirts, fenders, hull extensions...
They were fitted as they were need to fit the side skirts over the wider HVSS suspension..
