Well i think I was looking into it too much, seems fine just had to adjust my trim all the way right for some reason with the new motor/gearbox. I am using the stock rx18 still. I got my upper hull today and will be getting pics shortly and posting in my show off thread.

Edit.....

After a few hours running i have only had one issue with the new upgrades. I keep having the axles come out so I went and put some blue locktite on all the set screws but now I am having just one keep popping out, I have tried a different screw with locktite on again but still popping out. I run my tanks slow so i have no idea what to do. The screws and hole in the suspension arm are not stripped.

Ok, I really need some help. I fixed the axel issue, but now I am at a loss here and am about to throw this thing out the window.

The tracks are now popping off the drive gear whenever I take any kind of turn be it fast or slow. It happens in short grass, packed dirt and loose dirt. I have tried loosening the tracks and tightening them.I have also tried making sure the wheels and sprockets are aligned but I really have no type of adjustments I can do, the axles dont go through the arms the whole way and have some play so idk what to do.
Here are some pictures.

Take the offending wheel off.
File or lightly grind a small flat on the axle diameter the size of the screw face where it will tighten.
Align the flat with the set screw and tighten.
100% no more  come outey

Cant tell from the pics.
Check if the gearbox is allowing correct alignment or the sprocket to the track/idler center line.
Could be that the sprocket is looking to the right and as the track comes off the idler it is walking off when the suspension oscillates over bumps(causing the track to loosen momentarily) .
My Tiger got better the longer it ran, seemed to bed the tracks into the sprockets.
Hope it works out, if its going in the bin-my bin is plenty big enough :haha:

SteelAce wrote:Just a quick question about a certain shade of paint. Does anyone know which tamiya paint would best match this grey on this paint job? I was thinking TS-66, AS-2, AS-18, or AS-28.

TS-4 is German Grey in a pressure pack can
XF-63 is it in a pot.

The yellow is XF-60 in a pot
TS-3 in the spray can

Hope this helps

Bleh, I feel so so so stupid right now. I think I found the issue......

I just went to move the tank and when I did the gearboxes moved....... That has to be the problem...
