Hi Steiner,
Love your paint job . As regards the areas were the zimmerit is battle damaged are you going to put a red primer colour on these areas ? Im unsure on this as Ive seen some with and some with out. Either way its a lovely tank, well done.
All the best andy

Hello Andy,
Thanks, Andy thats a good question about what colour should be painted under the battle damaged Zimm. I don't really know what it would have been ? The hulls steel colour or the steel colour with some of the residue of the red oxide primer if it was painted with it ?
Do you have any references/ links to what it might have been.
Cheers.
STEINER.

Hi Steiner,
Your wecome Im nowere near ready to spray yet . Just made the rear working convoy light . After a few attempts and some advice of here . As for the areas mentioned the 007 Tiger on here has the red oxide showing . I have a modeling mag which shows a painted figure sitting in the turret . The actual articule was about painting the figure . But you can see the MG mount rail on his turret and were theres ware its the red oxide colour and it looks good . Im not sure on referance as I think most of mine are black and white . Unless there is anything on the free download book page on here ? Ive downloaded several Tiger books . I shall have to have a look when I get time .
Regards Andy
