Here are some photos of the final results of the hull lengthening, drive sprocket re-positioning and idler rework.
Once assembled I found that the "bolt heads" on the inside sprocket half rub the exterior close out on the axle housing. I will have to reduce the height/thickness of the cover to clear the bolts. Bummer!



I loaded the Idler Wheel inner/outer piece in my Sherline Mill and removed the unwanted 6 narrow “spokes” and cleaned them up. I also created a styrene tire between the outer piece and the wheel to close up the gap between them. I am considering drilling/milling out the center hub so I can seal up the gap between them and still get to the mount screw. I will use the HL hub cover in it's place or make my own.
