Re: Engine Models
Good to hear it arrived David. Could you possibly take some pictures, if you dont mind. I'd love to see it. I'm probably going to order one this month.

Re: Engine Models
Hello again.
I guess it's about time to attempt attaching a picture to a post, so I will try and pull this off with one of the Maybach Engine Kit box. The original price sticker was still on the box ($149.99 USF). Not sure when it was first released, but it must have been pretty pricey at the time.
If this works OK, I will post some more of this kit.
Regards,
David

Re: Engine Models
Well Son of a Gun...it worked!!!
Here are a couple of shots of the engine assembly instructions ( all basically pictorial in nature). The top of the first page shows an image of the etched copper gasket sheet for the engine and compartment.

Re: Engine Models
OK, one last one this time around.
This is just the last page of the instructions, which show the engine compartment assembly.
The parts themselves are sorted into about nine small plastic pouches. I will try and organize then in a sequence approximating the assembly process for more photos if anyone is interested.
Best regards for what's left of the weekend,
David
PS: If anyone has some warm weather to spare, please feel free to redirect it out this way!

Re: Engine Models
Hello Brel.
I will take note of that suggestion. Just bear in mind, it took me the better part of a week just to find the on/off knobby thingy on my new camera. Having to read through software information to edit the actual pictures, may severely tax my current supply of scotch, not to mention cutting into R/C Tank work time...
Cheers,
David

Re: Engine Models
Its awesome to see the pics David. Im looking forward to seeing this being built and how well it fits into a 1/16 model.
I'll definitely have to pick one up.

Rik
