I use different types of glue 1/gorilla super glue.2/Revell contacta pro. 3/tamiya super thin and ABS glue. Theses 3 seam to bond any parts I have. With plascard I use revell contacta pro when useing plascard I always rough up the mating surface this way you get a stronger joint/bond. I also use EMA plastic weld beware of this one because the vapour is very strong so be careful with it. Brian...
Thanks again, Brian
Maybe someone should start a register of approved products (glues, tools etc.,) here for various jobs, based on the recommendations of forum members... a bit like the thread for approved suppliers (and dodgy ones). Alwyn also recommends EMA, and so I've ordered some...but I'll avoid the mind-expanding vapours

. Ta, for the tip. I've been using Contacta Pro and like the dispenser it comes in; very handy.
As for the Firefly, I'm going to fit a Mato barrel and attempt an airsoft version as, from a personal standpoint, the recoil/flashing light option seems a bit weak. Guns ought to fire something, if only a cork or a spud., I think. Also, there's no IR
battling option up here in the Highlands..so. that side of things is a non-starter.
Just looking at Tom's jaw-dropping collection of tanks, (almost one for every day of the month

), I just wonder how he decides which one to operate on a daily basis (didn't want to say 'play with'...this is for adults, after all

) ., and, unless he lives in a mansion where does he keep them all? There must be one or two even in the toilet! I now have seven, with the Firefly, and I'm running out of places to stash them, especially with all the support gear that goes with them (wooden boxes for the two Torros, etc.,).. Something will have to go-..... and it's probably the sofa, or the wife (if I still had one!).
