The barrel is just plonked in there, I haven't hooked up the servo inside yet.

Test run with a 2.4ghz RX18 to check that the new wiring loom all works. Had to rebuild the steel gearboxes that had seen better days!

Just needs the sensors in the cupola, an IR emitter, and a drive board, and it's good to go.

When you get the board don't forget the 1 x 5 pin and 2 x 2 pin plugs! :thumbup:

I am now kicking myself, I spent ages mixing paint to get that base colour to match the colour in the pics, there I am ferreting about in my supply of paint, I pick up a bottle and what is on it? German Cam Beige, still unopened...I have no idea when I bought that, I had totally forgotten that it was in there. @)
