I don't know you people are so ungrateful, :thumbdown:
We give to the World free ,gratis, and for nothing the ENGLISH Language and to make the pleasure of using those words that much greater we offer to you ingrates "William Shakespear" and his ouvre, :thumbup:
Do we get thanked for our unbridled generosity ? Fat chance, :eh:
Through the evolution of literature and the wider field of entertainment we gave you Pope, Bronte, Dickens, Shelley, Wordsworth, JMW Turner, Constable, The Beatles, The Who,
The Rolling stones, oops sorry I will delete the last entry later! :{
And the very pinnacle of British Culture no, no, not Benny Hill, :shh:
BUT THE TELETUBBIES. :clap: :clap:
You have no idea how lucky you are, :lolno:
When I think of the rancid muck we did not export but had to live through in Britain my stomach turns over.
Shaun.

At least Jerry Falwell is grateful for the Teletubbies, if nothing else, just so he could accuse Tinky Winky of being a fruit.

Shaun....nope, the teletubbies blow all of that out of the water. See how all the good can be ruined by just 1 bad thing? And there's 4 teletubbies! No we're all dreadfully sorry to inform you but there's just no redeeming yourselves from the teletubbies.

Jack, Just before you continue with your critique of British CULTURE I suggest you look down the road a few miles toward DU-PONT Circle and if you can get off, turn onto Pennsylvania Ave, Oh what a sorry sight for the discerning eye, Hardly helped by the knowledge of what lies within its unflattering portals. Goodness only knows we tried burning the place down once, can't you take a hint?
But it is not for me to point out your travail, your sorry tear laden journey into such offerings as "Boogie Woogie" !!! and who could forget "Tiny Tim"? and Coney Island and please do not let us forgo the pinnacle of good taste "LAS VEGAS"
The countless wasted hours of watching both Film and Television disasters interspersed with mind numbing coercions to purchase products that have no tangible worth whatsoever, And yet cost a fortune to aquire.
HANG ON,
Sorry Jack I have just realised I am describing the daily output of the British entertainment industry, Please forgive my ill manners.
Shaun.
