Re: IBU2 install
Jack ,Indeed it should, but the binding circuit in the receiver is separate, it after all only locks the transmitter and receiver to each other if it were not the receiver would need to be bound each time you wanted to use the transmitter,
The binding part of the receiver has nothing to do with R/C activities. Its a bit like having a key to your front door, Once your inside all the internal doors are free of locks (except for the Lavatory/John
)Whilst the closed front door is keeping the mad axe murderers out or in this case other users of TURNIGY 9x or indeed any other 2.4 Ghz transmitter.
Shaun.

Hi gang,
Only quickly read through all the posts.
Oneal I bind the reciever to my radio for checking before sending replacement. You need to bind to your radio. Then you can run through config.
Jake pm your issues and review and help when I can.

Well alrighty then! I was freaking 'cause of no LED on the receiver. I comprehend it all now. Tankbear sorry to bring you into this on your holiday. Jarndice and Jackalope, thanks for sharing info.
I finished my SD card, all that is on it now is the Tiger file and the IBU2 file . Is this correct?

Re: IBU2 install
Jack, You must NOT have the Transmitter on when you begin the binding process,
Put in the bind plug in the top socket.
Put in the battery pack Futaba plug in the next socket.
With the Transmitter OFF press the button on the back of the transmitter.
Keeping the button pressed switch ON the transmitter.
The flashing light should now be a steady light.
By the way I am assuming you have a fully charged battery in your transmitter ?

Re: IBU2 install
Jack if after binding your transmitter you get a message on the screen telling you that "ALERT SWITCH WARNING" it just means that one or more of the switches is "ON",
Ensure all the switches are "UP" then try again.
