MERDC came in late 70s to 80s, right? Then replaced by NATO 3-colour in late 80s I think. Then desert became all the rage and so we get desert camo vehicles in temperate climates because someone forgot there's such a thing as Russia with her tanks and temperate climates hehehehe

It's only recently I learned of the various versions of MERDC. I didn't know there were different kinds with names like Verdant Spring and such. Makes it sound like the latest fashion designs for various seasons (e.g., Fall 2016, Spring 2015) hehehe

I know all the Abrams V3 that are being prepositioned in Europe are in the green brown and black camo. Most of those older models we currently sell are going to the middle east and are still in desert sand and it looks from pics like the countries buying them are leaving them that way.

There've been recent photos of M1s going to Europe painted all green. These will eventually be painted to NATO 3-colour.

For a long time, M1s have been painted desert camo from the factory. But with the ongoings at Europe and Korea, some M1s will likely leave the factory in green.

Customers in the middle east will of course get desert painted M1s.

The only other M1 in service with a unique paint job are the Australian M1s.

Lmao got the paint today, so if all things go to plan I'll be doing it Monday, got to give myself a day to find the French Leclercs floating around my my local at the moment lol

Managed to get it sprayed this morning, couple of areas to touch up but pretty pleased with the finish
