Good afternoon,
I left the Taigen airbrush job intact on my Panther because at the time, it was one of the best I and others on the forum had seen on an out of the box tank. Most of the paints I used on that build are Model Masters Enamel flats. They matched up perfectly when doing painted details to the airbrushed paint. Colors were the Dunkelgelb as noted and Rotbraun and Olivegrun. MG metallic paint was Tamiya Gunmetal and the tank was finished off with Tamiya weathering compacts and two coats of Model Masters rattlecan Clear Flat.

Thanks painless! Much appreciated :] Last night I decided to take the lifting lugs on the rear deck off and put them the right way round, it went well really, I used a piece of strong cotton the cut them off aha luckily there wasn't a lot of mess and I just stuck them back down, possibly need a bit of touch up work but that can be done later. I went on RCtank.de and saw they had stronger springs for the Panther road wheels, thought I'd give them a go! :]

A small tip that you doubtless are already aware of. With small parts like those lift hooks on the rear deck, when you remove them, take the time to drill a small hole on the attaching surface of the part and cement in a length of wire or solder. Drill a corresponding hole on the deck and cement the piece back into place. Pinning small parts or even complete sections together gives a great deal of extra sheer strength for when you are running through rough country in your tank. ;o)

Cheers for the tip, I wasn't aware of doing that, but now you mention it it's a good idea! I've already stripped the tracks off and almost got the sprokets off! I figured if I don't start now I'll end up never doing it ahah I managed to get the hubs off, took the screw out, the outside half of the sprokets come straight off but the main part of the sproket I can't remove for the life of me. Is there another screw hidden away?

Good morning,
The interior hub half should be a press fit onto the sprocket shaft. ( at least they are on mine ) Look at the flats on the shaft hubs and see if there is a grub screw holding the hub half in place ( something usually seen on idler wheels not sprockets ) Good luck, sometimes the fitment is just very tight and a drop of plastic safe penetrating oil may loosen it up.
