https://www.hayaltd.co.uk/ Just put M4A1 in the search box. Two of the 6 results do not have a "sold out" message on them.
Irritates the hell out of me that he states it's the perfect and correct model for a British firefly.
Just passing along the info...nothing more.

Which was a job well done, I'm sure the OP appreciates it
My comment wasn't directed at you, it was just an observation about the listing statement

its nice to have an alternative, but it would save a lot of work to buy Christian's hull and metal hatches.

Go Louis
Although I did send the chap a PM on the 10th with Nick's email address, and heard nothing back from him after he read my message, in fact, Mr Dev_Estate hasn't been back on the forum since the twelfth.

Hi Carl and Son of a Gun-ner
I did gamble on a ebay buy-it-now auction last summer. Some nice gentlemen in the US, who obviously did not know what he had, was selling a "Tamiya 1/16 M4 Sherman Howitzer R/C Tank for parts or rebuilding" with a few really bad pictures that i could not determine for sure what it really was. I saw part of a hull, some tracks and some sprues. I thought at worst it was probably an old chassis from the 70s that i could use the HVSS suspension. He let it go for $120.

Upon opening the box, i discover a Full Option kit with all the electronics, clean with new gearbox, extra sprues, 2 upper hulls, turret, good tracks, spare parts for suspension... Everything is there, including replacements for the headlights... Oh, one of the suspension bogie is loose... What a deal.

The plan is to convert it to an M4A1 76(w) HVSS with the Nick Aguilar kit. But that Tamiya electronic does not have recoil, so i will probably resell those. All my tanks are now setup and wired for Clark boards.
