By the way, Alpha, how on Earth do you do those 'spoiler' interjections?

Hi Peeps.
Yes my good friend "Alpha", was right, I was only pulling your leg, well, I could hardly pull theirs could I,
When I look at the two "Stalingrad", heads I get a feeling they will suddenly look at me and start to talk,
that's great painting, that gives that impression .
Or they might both burst into song,
That old favourite, "I aint got no body". ALL together now peeps.
Cheers Wads.

Progress notes/painting:
"I hope to make this even better.I had to use Humbrol enamels for the brass on the ammo and for the collar insignia and need to wait until they fully dry before I can do any adjacent touch ups. The sling on the MG42 is very fragile and has already had a repair made to it."

A little tip for that sling Tao....use medical tape...double it over then cut the width with a really sharp Sissor....it will flex before it ever breaks and it
has a great texture to it

I've found that for leather strapping brown duct tape folded over and cut to size works very well. Can't remember who gave me that tip, maybe Herman or Rex. It's a little shiny, but a quick hit with dulcote from the bottle works well for that. I'll have to try medical tape and see which one I like best.
