Been making a list of parts for upgrading the Tiger.
Debating a mid version, so deleting the smoke dischargers and both headlights, changing the commanders hatch for a swivel hatch. That way keeping the zimmerit isn't too much of an issue.
Adding a single headlight and bracket to the middle of the front plate, AA mount and MG.
Delete Fiefel pipes and filters.
Keeping the early wheels and tracks as they were seen on a lot of mid production tigers.
Anything else I should be doing?

A "mid" Tiger has, by definition, the early wheels. If it had other wheels, it would be a "late" Tiger.
The early tracks were present on about the first half of the Mid Tiger batch.
You can make an Early in to a Mid without doing anything at all to the hull. So long as it's the "final" version Early Tiger. Keep the Feifels and the two headlights.
The turret, on the other hand, needs;
- the cupola with swivel hatch - possibly swivelling forwards
- a "plug" pistol port instead of the big one

Ah ok, thanks
I might change the fiefels, undecided yet.
Don't want to rip it apart too much!

Decals for (late - 1943) early production Tiger, looking at tank A23 from gross Deutschland division now as its white wash and has the smoke dischargers removed.
Removed my smoke dischargers and brackets from the turret this morning.
Time to actually order some stuff before I change my mind on what Tiger I'm doing again.

A23 looks interesting. The hull is from March 1943, no later. It has the open holes above the driver's visor and the first kind of Feifels. But the turret is a later type, it never had smoke launchers. It has the spare tracks.
