Gary, the files these things take has a lot more pixel information to it than out of a point and shoot, plus considerations like your internet speed. I know it took me about 20 minutes or so to upload this video of me just sampling the low light performance. For longer video's I have always just started the upload before I go to bed. As far as uploading you just be able to click the youtube button and place the tail of the address in between the brackets. I hate forums that do it this way but its easy enough once ya know what to do. Say this is your full web address to your video. "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHGKjw141vw" Then you would just put the QHGKjw141vw between the Youtube brackets, like this without the spaces...

Let's give it a try.
maybe
Success!
Thank you very much to both Ryan for the above post, and to Alpha, for the excellent explanation you sent in the PM. By the time I got here this morning I had already read that and things were clear, and Ryan's post confirmed what I had just learned from Alpha.
I agree with you, Ryan, that it's a bit more confusing doing it this way, and it was definitely easier when I could just copy the web address and paste it to the appropriate box, but now that I know how it shouldn't be a problem, and if I forget I can always reference the PM. On the whole I like this forum much, much better than RCU, for the speed it operates at, the excellent preview feature and the lack of advertising! I dropped by RCU to read a bit yesterday and it was kinda difficult to find the posts among all the stupid ads! The cable TV ad cut off half a video so the only way to watch was to go full screen. I wonder where all that advertising cash goes?
The low light test looked good, Ryan. I'm going to a Detroit Tank Command battle in a couple hours and I'm taking the T5 and the Mobius. I should try the Mobius on the dashboard of the car like that. I'll try to get lots of pix at the battle, one of the guys has a very cool Stug IV you guys will like, and if El Warpo shows up he's got several very cool tanks, like an Easy 8 and a late PIII.
For those that haven't seen it, the video I posted is a ridealong in the village from earlier this summer. The season is about over for this year, but next year is gonna ROCK!! The Blitz and all the new figures and the stuff I'll be able to get done on buildings will make a huge difference. I'm also gonna work on getting rid of the brush pile and opening things up a bit more to make it more IR Battle friendly.
Thanks again to all the members here for letting me practice and mess around in this thread without having to worry if I'm posting the right stuff in the right place. I think at this forum I'm gonna need the "notify me when a reply is posted" feature to help keep track of all the stuff I'm tryin' to keep track of. I think I'm gonna like that. Kinda like having several different forums all in the same place.

Agreed, this forum is MUCH smoother than RCU. Also, there is a notification option in the User control panel that is defaulted to "Off".
User control panel > Board preferences > edit posting defaults > Notify me upon replies by default:
It should be there

I'm back in good ol Lee's Summit actually. =D
The downside is that the lady agreed to dog sit this week, so I haven't even had time to set my pc up.
