Think a little bit of detailing at first. Just things like putting the correct colour on the machine gun and tracks in the track holder.
May also look around for accessories to add to it (luggage, jerry cans etc.) Do you have any suggestions? :D

I don't usually do stowage on mine...but sandbags are a nice addition ...they are easy to make yourself....also some rolled up tarps and such...and whatever you do Wizard....don't forget to put a bucket :haha:

You've made a good choice. I have four Shermans. Taigen, Heng Long, and both Tamiya's. The Taigen suffers from being just a little too fast, as does the Heng Long. Both good tanks however. The Tamiya's were fun to build and with the hobby grade electronics are great runners in the slow and smooth departments.

I may upgrade the electronics at some point.

Just have fun with your tank. When you do decide to upgrade the electronics, my vote is for the IBU2. I have three now. Easy to set up, easy to use, and they work great. I've had the Clark board and didn't care for it. The IBU2 board, and the customer service from Ian is top grade.

How does IBU2 compare to ELmod?

I have no experience with the Elmod either.
