That's a double...so a new King tiger....if it were the old the motors would be vertical not horizontal like in your picture

If that is a picture of the tank you just bought I have some bad news for you, it's NOT a King Tiger but rather a Tiger I.

Hi - thanks. Yeah, I have the Tiger I Early Production.

This thread was for a King Tiger and I was reading it and then I read that part about different versions so I asked. Alpha said look at the gearbox so I assumed all tamiya models were the same so one gearbox or two?
Or is it different with the Tiger I?
BTW - I have just purchased a King Tiger as well. I'll pick that up this coming weekend.

Pretty sure the one he bought was a proper full option one with later gearboxes - I was watching it on eBay

Ad Lav = do you think I got a good deal? I wasn't so sure from his description saying it's well used or something.. I don't want it all worn out and stuff.

£205 for a full option KT with that radio is a cracking deal.
I'd expect to pay around £300 for a used Full option KT, Tiger, ,Pershing, etc, less or a Sherman as it's cheaper and more for some of the later ones.
