Thanks Kiaser........I've had them outdoors on grass and no problems.....even took them when we went camping and they worked perfect in the fields. The only thing that stopped them was the batteries running flat :D Slowly getting there with them

Wow ! That looks a great way to keep those tigers going buddy......I defo need to do that as the running time is fairly low due to the weight.....yet another item on my hit list lol. Great advice and pics Kiaser. I think I may have to hurry up on the waterproofing as we could be in for one of the worse winters for a long time......so they recon ! I've had the chassis out today and had a fiddle, fingers crossed :D

I've got a third Tiger on the go, I want one I can just get real muddy, run it through water and lots of dirty stuff ! I've got a torsion bar chassis.....metal early wheels and metal tracks.....it's defo work in progress as I plan to water proof it.....as you can see from the pics below....early days......I want it heavy....so metal turret will be fitted, along with other metal upgrades.....should be a brute when finished

Your treatment of that nick...looks very good Jeman  ....it's still there...but oh so credible as damage :D
Is the Tiger to be waterproofed also a Taigen?....those are a little more challenging ...I would say HLs are the easiest ;) ...it's a glorious undertaking...
Have fun doing it...

Hi ALPHA ! Thanks bud.....I'm pleased with the touching up but just taking my time.....I really don't want to go to mad with the 2 taigens......they are kinda shelf queens.....but do have a trundle with them here and there :) the project waterproofing Tiger is a asiatam chassis ! This is the one I want to get muddy, not worry about the paintwork to much. The two tigers I have weigh around 15 lb, I'm sure I can get the same weight maybe a bit more with the muddy tiger after hull strengthening and a few other metal bits added........have a few ideas on how to waterproof, just getting it all together.....as you can see in the pics the rear idlers are off, but need to replace them and sort the shaft out.........oh the joy lol

Asiatam is very similar to the Taigen right?...the torsion bars is what will give you the most challenge...those things are difficult to waterproof individually...might be a good idea to just drill a drain hole..find a rubber plug for it ...and seal the entire suspension area off ...the trapped air should help keep the moisture out...the drain hole would be the contingency plan should water enter that section of the hull ;)

Good Luck Jeman...look forward to seeing that Tiger swim ;)

Just made this for the tiger...........I'm very amateur on this......but I'm happy with it......for now :D It's the ammo ( I will be toning down the gold ) and pouch I've added.........I could buy them but wanted to have a go myself. I'm sure I will be fiddling with these bits until I'm happy.......good fun !

Kiaser, Have you been drinking AGAIN!!! :haha: There are two things about that mg you must know, FIRST that is an MG42!!! and SECOND they did not have MG42s on Tiger 1s.
Sorry I am feeling a bit ratty today, England beat Pakistan in the one day cricket, so I am preparing myself for the inevitable beating in the next match.
