Hi all,

Have managed to fit the laser diode in the Leo.
It's in the recess at the left hand side of the gun mount. This means it is out of site and it should also be protected from the elements.

At present it's wired to the MG led circuit which seems to work well.
Heres my PzIII lit up and about to take a first time hit.  ;D

Amazing isn't it, I am looking on Tankzone for Tiger parts, when I see 1/16 scale Abrams on a link. I then start looking at those, and think...hmmm..reckon I could fit HL boxes in there..an RX18 board...upgrade the motors...maybe even Elmod? I wonder if it's possible?

I then come back here to see what's what and someone has already done it!

Hell, this works out about £500 cheaper than a Tamiya? I might give it a go!

Cheers

Go for it Wibbly, it's a doddle.
By the way the Abrams is the best if you like detailing work.
Make sure it's the version with suspension though.
