Hay chaps
These pics were taken at heng long last week ...The chally looks poorly because they were fitting metal suspension arms and stronger springs with out removing the upper hull
And the T tank is a t90 ..but it looks so much like the hull is in fact a T 72

As the engine deck is wrong and all the ERA is missing on the front

58........ My real preference would be a vintage T-72 with the old Soviet Union Army with full ERA.........
A little tired of trying to pretend with a ZTZ.

KIASER, While I was on a detachment in Germany in the early 70s I was at a large NATO transport company,
It was Winter and the only vehicle that would start was a 1944 Bedford QL (REBUILD)
It bump started every heavy truck in the compound including a DM250.000 Mercedes heavy recovery,
The German soldiers looked a little hacked off while the Brits were rolling around laughing

KIASER, You are so right, truly a country of contrasts, we visited the Mosel Valley and the views into the Gorge are quite staggering, then on to an Alpine regiment in Smitheim for 3 weeks Skiing, unfortunately it was mostly Langlauf, but at the weekends I was able to stay with my sister in Geneva where she was/is living,
And FOOD!!! Deep fried chicken, chips and mayonaisse, And Sausage in any size and filling, to this day I only eat my chips with a decent mayo, and my lady still snorts in disgust,
Fond memories of a fine country and many friends.
The downside, Parachuting onto Sennelager exercise area in the Winter, a real ankle breaker for some of us, I have in my Military career broken an arm, both legs, a wrist and a collar bone (twice) but never an ankle, still there 's time yet
