Hi Pete the welds look bloody good to me....can you put a couple of front wings on my sons Fiesta........

Hi,

As far as welding is concerned, less is frequently more. I've seen lots of welds on the bigger models that look overdone, even from experienced modellers. When you bear in mind that real welds are covered by paint, dirt, rust etc which flattens out the detail I would say that yours looks just about right.

Hi Guys Thanks for your opinions most welcome I will put it on the hints and tips ,going to try and make small boltheads if this works will let you know how to do it.going to play now

Here We go again had a little play and came up with the little boltheads take a look and leave your comments please again they didnt take long to do but they only seam to work on 1mm tried to do them in 1,5mm but they didnt take will have to rethink if I need them 1,5mm.

Hi Guys O.K.2mm allen key cut the bend off to make the punch grind end flat so its nice and sharpe at the corners two pieces of metal about 2 inches long so you can clamp one end and be able to open the other 1 mm first drill 2,3mm hole though both pieces of metal then split them and drill the top plate 2,5mm put them back together and line hole up clamp as before then slide in 1mm plastic strip about 10mm wide and use allen key as punch light tap with small hammer and out drops a little bolt head use a tray to catch them .
