Don't know if this will help

Sorry just noticed you were looking for metal - maybe use plastic and have spares?
Good luck Alwyn

Thank you for looking anyway.....the HL lower hull for the bulldog seem to be 2 a penny if they are plastic, if you look for tiger parts oh lordy you can get metal parts all over the place, but the poor little bulldog is indeed hard to find metal parts for....
I should CNC a load and corner the market

Good Morning,
Metal road wheels, sprocket\idler and suspension sets for the Walker Bulldog can be found at: http://tankarmy.com/heng-long-tank/prod ... ons-p-1037 Explore the Tank Army store. You will be pleased with what you find, I think.
regards,
Painless

Put my new gearbox in today, certainly slowed the Bulldog down a bit! Also now seems to veer right quite a bit now, I'm changing the board for a 2.4ghz tomorrow, so hopefully I can fix it with the trim.

What box did you put in? I got a 4:1 from Rctank.de all steel but the motors were not very good, one of them was binding on its self so much it to veers off
I swapped them out for HL can motor works as it should now... think I may give in with the bulldog, I just cannot find metal wheels, and suspension in the UK or EU for a good price... very hard to get hold of....
and the plastic set up has about 20hours life in it if that

Yes got the same one as you. I'm happy with my new Tiger and the T34 I got previously, keeping with the Bulldog for now to mess around with

Well I figure that as this is my first rc tank enterprise, I will upgrade and modify the Bulldog to death, to give me some experience before I start tinkering with the other two, or try a scratch build. I can use some of the upgrade parts of the Bulldog to start a new build. Incidentally does your missus think your crazy? Her Indoors
here thinks I've completely lost it

A scratch build from bulldog parts sounds fun... I may join you on that haha..... My Mrs is fine with it, I only do this stuff when she is at work or out, I wont ever put this before my relationship..

I'm thinking about reinforcing the lower hull with tin plate as I have now cut the battery box out, not sure what thickness to use though 1mm? what does everybody use?
