Ooh space 1999 great show...is it something from UFO? Ohh or is it a Thunderbirds vehicle they had tracked stuff...

Ok close enough. Its an Alpha lunar station Eagle laser defence tank. I've wanted to build one for ages but the beak unit and certain out of production kit parts were a big problem. A very nice forum member on another site helped with a lot on this and now its just a question of getting the coffee pot on and putting together!

I know its a bit fringe do you think it's worth doing a build thread?

Any build is worth tracking because they are always interesting and there may be things arising on the build that could be useful for another different build in the future so go ahead and post, I'll be following. It looks as though it's going to be out of this world . I hope you're going to make the laser elevate swivel and flash? Alwyn

I was also a big fan of space 1999 so if you build it I shall certainly be intrested in the build, another build some time ago was the shadow tracked command unit from UFO.

Yep that's still awaiting its wheels up in the workshop.
