With the metal wheels, suspension and tentionsers assembled. I'ver put the plastic tracks back on for now. I want to gun blue the metal ones before they get put on.

Blocked up and siliconed all the holes that are below the drive sprockets drive shaft hole.

that's a nice looking gearbox!!! :D
Like the anodized red and blue, is that one of the uprated gearboxes Tank Army are selling now?
Axis -H/L Panzer III, H/L Panzer IV, H/L Stug III, H/L Stug III (Schurzen), H/L Panther, H/L Tiger 1(early and late) and a H/L King Tiger(Porsche)
Allies - WSN T-34/85, H/L KV-1, H/L Sherman and a scratch Cromwell(in progress)

Seems a shame to hide it away in the hull........I like that!

Yes, it seems a good solid build with bearings throughout. Fit like a glove into the Stug. Hope it runs as nice as it looks :D

Got a load more work to do before I can run it about though. Just got my IBU2 pro through, also just got the bolts through so I can get on with the traverse conversion on the canon.

Mike,
That is a very nice set of gearboxes. I love the no solder motor contacts and wiring. Your StuG is really a top drawer build.
