I'm gonna make a thread for Mega Steam but here's the deal, if anyone wants anything from him PM me I'll get you the current cost of what you want. I'll have to go to the post office to see what the laws are regarding shipping liquids over seas and so long as I'm aloud to I'll ship whatever you guys want where aver you want it, you pay for the shipping and the product I will not add any "mark up".

To the mods I am NOT turning this into a business I am NOT adding any kind of mark up I will NOT be making any money from this at all I'm only offering to pass the fluid along to those who can not get the fluid any other way.

Hi guys I've just fitted a tarr mk1 into my mkiv ww1 tank which is powered with an ibu2 I have found that wiring the element straight to the battery via a switch and plugging the fan into the smoker port gives Constant thick smoke which comes out faster the faster you drive(not that the mkiv is fast) but you get the idea

Hola! Hooked up the Tarr to tgn tiger ... no smoke!! I have followed yall's progress with smoker's and I'm guessing not enough volts. I am charging battery (2000) and will ttry it tomorrow. Should I be considering wiring directly to battery side with switch? I am a greenhorn to the world of rc armor....but learning quickly
Thanks, O'Neal

Don't know if this would help, but I have ran TARR smoker MK II (The one with the metal casing ?) off a 3S lipo for short period of time (5 mins) and it works fine and generated WAY more smoke than off the control board which is probably closer to 5v I think. I don't know if running the smoker on 3S for long time will damage it but if you want ALOT of smoke that's one way of getting it.

I am quite happy with my TARR Mk II with mega steam off the Clark, but saw a Taigen video that Eric posted running the stock HL smoker at 8v+ so decided to give it a try.

Thanks for Tarr input, went straight to hot battery and got a little smoke out of the somewhat empty smoker. Smoke came out of intake hole under fan. Never saw any coming out of exit tubes. I'm thinking it needs to cook alot longer than a minute or two (which is what I'm doing). The unit in tank willbe emptied since I got enough in there to drown the cotton. Funny you mention the batteries... I've already flagged lipos and 5000 nimh!! Not sure if I need the lipo...don't know how much I'm going to play yet. I'm going out to see if I can generate a cloud. I'll be back O'Neal

Der TIGER has smoke!!! What is best advice on wiring changes? Steer me in the right direction so I don't cause excess damage(ie: mistakes) Something that when beast cranks up.. it will belch a lil cloud! Which means smoker's cookin then fan kicks in. I likethe idea of proportional to the speed of Tiger too. What kind of hardware will it need to do wiring nicely? Once I get this rectified...Battery upgrade !! might even finish the weathering

Hi O'Neal, If you are using the regular HENG LONG/TAIGEN/TORRO control board then you have a problem because the three companies I mentioned could run a HENG LONG proportional smoker but any other smoker would not be proportional.
Whereas all smokers would benefit from a CLARK or an IBU2 board which you just plug into the proper socket and any smoker will then be proportional. shaun

Kiaser, My friend The last line is to me the most important.
Far too many people question buying a New multi-channel digital transmitter/receiver for £70+ as well as £100+ for a new control board when HENG LONG/TORRO/TAIGEN include a control board and transmitter with the Tank.
What they forget is that to all intents and purposes the factory transmitter is only able to operate one Tank (yes I know you can rebind it, but it is to much like hard work)
Whereas the Spectrum DX6i or the Turnigy 9x et al can be pre- programmed for your helicopter, your fixed wing and your Tiger 1 with an IBU2 as well as your Panzer 4 with a Clark TK20 all for the flick of a switch or the turn of a dial,
One of these will cost more but the versatility is beyond compare,
I feel sure that we are in agreement that when we decided to go multi-channel digital there was never going to be a return to HENG LONG/TAIGEN/TORRo's r/c transmitters and control boards   shaun
